02 / FIND YOUR GRADE
Describe your molded part and select your material requirements. Get a shortlist from our published PA6 and PA66 range for technical review and sample evaluation.
Compare PA6 and PA66 grades using the technical properties required for your molded part.
Discuss glass reinforcement, impact modification, surface finish, and the operating conditions your part must withstand.
Request technical data and samples to evaluate the compound in your own molds and processing conditions.
APPLICATIONS / START WITH YOUR PART
Explore application categories for material evaluation. Final grade selection depends on the part design, operating environment, and required approvals.
Brackets, equipment covers, and structural housings. Discuss stiffness, loading, dimensional requirements, and reinforcement.
Discuss your application ↗Tool housings and functional consumer parts. Evaluate impact performance, surface appearance, and molding behavior.
Discuss your application ↗Gears, guides, and molded assemblies. Review wear, tolerances, moisture conditioning, and service conditions with the technical team.
Discuss your application ↗Enclosures and component supports. Identify required electrical, thermal, and flammability approvals before selecting a grade.
Discuss your application ↗Application examples describe evaluation opportunities, not certifications or approved uses.
MATERIAL QUALIFICATION
Move from a promising compound to a practical production decision. Bring your specification; review the grade data; evaluate the material in your own process.
Use the current grade-specific TDS to compare properties, test methods, and conditioning. Ask about processing guidance before your trial.
Tell us which batch records, certificates of analysis, recycled-content information, or compliance documents your program requires. We’ll confirm availability for the selected supply.
Evaluate dimensions, appearance, mechanical performance, and operating conditions with your own molds. Record trial results before production approval.
03 / ABOUT PRO COMPOUNDS
I’m Alex Shirdel. After 25 years in manufacturing, distribution, and sales, I wanted to build something with a lasting purpose. Over the years, we built relationships with major retailers and supported our partners through changing market conditions. As retailers increasingly shifted to direct overseas sourcing, I saw the need for a new direction—one focused on strengthening American manufacturing and creating opportunities here at home. Created by ProMounts, Kian Group is Pro Compounds’ manufacturing wing. We connect plastic molding companies with upcycled PA6 and PA66 nylon compounds, bringing manufacturing expertise and material solutions to American businesses. My goal is to help bring jobs and manufacturing opportunities back to America. I want our children to inherit more than the challenges we faced: I want the next generation to have the skills, opportunity, and confidence to build their future here at home.
Recovered carpet and other material streams offer a starting point for new compounds.
Material selection, reinforcement, and formulation are guided by the properties your application needs.
Evaluate technical data and samples against your own processing conditions and performance targets.
MATERIAL CIRCULARITY
Upcycling gives recovered nylon another opportunity to become a useful molded part. Performance, sourcing, and recycled-content requirements belong in the same conversation.
